Author Bio:

Lisa Oliver had been writing non-fiction books for years when visions of half dressed, buff men started invading her dreams. Unable to resist the lure of her stories, Lisa decided to switch to fiction books, and now stories about her men clamor to get out from under her fingertips.

When Lisa is not writing, she is usually reading with a cup of tea always at hand. Her grown children and grandchildren sometimes try and pry her away from the computer and have found that the best way to do it, is to promise her chocolate. Lisa will do anything for chocolate.

Lisa loves to hear from her readers and other writers. You can friend her on Facebook here, or email her directly at

Ace is on a mission. On the run from his old pack, the enforcer is determined that cat shifter Teric must die. In his head it’s the only way he can regain his place in the Washington pack and the Bound and Bonded club. In an effort to meet his needs for Domination in the human world, Ace visits Whips, a predominantly human BDSM club and gets the shock of his life.

Devin is a five hundred year old vampire who has been searching for his one and only for the longest time. Working as a house sub at Whips was fine until one Master over steps his boundaries and Devin is left with time on his hands. Deciding on a whim to track down the delicious wolf shifter he had smelled at the club, Devin soon tracks down Ace…and then promptly wishes he hadn’t. Ace is a wolfist and refuses to accept Devin as his mate.

Misunderstandings are just one hurdle these two need to overcome, if they are ever to have their HEA. The enforcers from the Washington Pack are still looking for Ace, and when they find him it might prove the end for both Devin and Ace.

Warnings; this is a gay erotic romance about a wolf shifter and a vampire. The book includes graphic sex scenes between men, BDSM elements and coarse language.

“This is not a scene. Not this time. This is us, together. Mate. Amatus. No rules. No restrictions. Just two men who will be together for a lifetime.”

Devin’s eyes flashed a brilliant red, the sight almost shocking Ace with its intensity and then it was gone just as quickly.

“I want that,” Devin said softly, as his hands came up from where they had been resting on the bed and gripped Ace’s biceps. “I want that a lot,” his voice finishing on a growl that set Ace’s wolf on edge as though not sure whether to challenge or submit. But that growl left Ace in no doubt that the man underneath him was as much a predator as he was.

VP: What are some of your favorite books from your childhood?

I have been reading since I was four years old and had progressed to adult books by the time I was six. But out of the thousands of books I have read, two books stand out for me in childhood – one of them was Wind in the Willows, which I now buy for each new grandchild and the other one was Gone With the Wind. Both books have stood the test of time for me and I still read them today. I was also a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh.

VP: When and why did you decide that you wanted to write M/M Romance?

I had been reading the M/M genre for about a year when the NaNoWriMo challenge in 2013 came up. Up until that time I had only written non-fiction books and had always thought I couldn’t write fiction. I was having troubles in my marriage and sitting down for thirty days to write a fiction book seemed like a good idea at the time – I wrote The Reluctant Wolf and a third of The Runaway Cat (Books one and two of the Cloverleah pack) during that month and I haven’t stopped since.

VP: Who are some of your favorite M/M Romance authors and why?

Ugh, I hate this question purely and simply because I have so many favorites. I read one to three books every single day. Sandrine Gasq Dion’s Twelve Olympians series is a huge favorite, anything by Stormy Glenn, Sean Michael and Gabrielle Evans. I love A.E. Vie and C. Cardeno and…the list just goes on. The key to a good book for me is that there is no cheating, the love is genuine, and if they happen to have some good sex between the pages (which these authors do), then I am happy. Throw in a couple of shifters as well and I won’t put the book down.

VP: Describe your writing place.

I have a little cabin set at the bottom of my driveway, which is my hideaway. It’s just a bland little box, but inside it has my books, a couple of Lazy-boy recliners and my computer desk all set up. I like that I can have all of my things in one place, and I can keep my more risqué research books away from my grandchildren.

VP: What makes you want to write?

I totally believe in what I write – the love one person can have with that special someone. A number of my readers have been in touch and told me that they too long for the same type of love, and while my books make people happy, I will keep on writing them. It’s what I love to do and I can’t see myself doing anything else at this stage.
