In the last installment, Jonnie had the last line: “The Burning Sky?”

“I dreamed it,” she replied. “And now it will not go away.”

“What does it mean?”

“Death,” she whispered. “Death for all. Death from the sky and not from this world.”

“I don’t understand it,” I told her.

She scooped them up in shaking hands and handed them to me with a scowl. I shuffled them again. She laid down three cards and the last came up The Burning Sky card again.

    No getting away from some things. I doubt beinf forewarned is going to be much good in this case!

    ooh, spooky how the card does keep turning up over and over. A strong omen! Loved the snippet, such an intriguing story.

    Burning sky sounds really bad. Apocalypse movie bad. I wonder if it can be stopped?
