#8sunday Weekend Writing Warriors: Burning Sky #31

Welcome Weekend Reading and Writing Warriors!

Follow the link above for awesome writers and their stories 😀

Here’s another 10 sentence installment of Burning Sky…

This link will take you to the story that has lead up to this moment:

“Rosida!” she called out. Rosie stood in a fluid movement and walked toward us. I moved over on the rug to give him room to sit before her.  He took the deck and shuffled deftly, a lucifer clamped between his teeth, and kept his handsome face turned away from me. Heat radiated from his body, as it always did. He burned like a sun. When she laid out his cards, she got the same result.

“Take it out of the deck,” I suggested.

“This is what our clever boy left us for?” she scoffed to Rosida. “To unlearn our ways?”

Interesting! I love the description of his warmth. ‘He burned like the sun.’ Very nice. Want to know more about him.

Great description. I’m interested in what the reading had to say.
