#rainbowsnippets: His Dark Reflection

If you land on this page looking for the MM Scavenger Hunt, it’s one post down, thanks!

Disco Party Ball with Colorful Flames-Lights. Great Background for Music-Dance Events.

I can’t believe four weeks have gone by since the last time I posted with this awesome group, but I’ve either been out of the country or working the weekends we post. But I’m very happy to be back and have the time to catch up with everyone involved…:)

“Rainbow Snippets is a group for LGBTQIA authors, readers, and bloggers to gather once a week to share six sentences from a work of fiction–a WIP or a finished work or even a 6-sentence book recommendation (no spoilers please!).

In this group you’ll find anything from romance and historical fiction to mystery and YA. The common thread is that every story’s main character identifies as LGBTQIA. The snippets could range from zero flames to full-on sexytimes, anything goes content-wise. The only rule is snippets will be 6 sentences long–one for each color in the Pride flag.”

Welcome to another weekend filled with Rainbow Snippets!

The link below will take you to the public Facebook group where you find both new and well-established authors posting bits from their WIPs and new releases:

Here’s Nick and Hank after a hard day on the streets of Port City, from His Dark Reflection…

Hank said, “The bourbon is kind of a bad boyfriend—makes you feel real good, then dumps you on your ass.”

Do not fall for this man. The heart Nick had thought he’d buried with Jordan stirred again.

Hank gave him a melting glance and a smile. “Gonna be my rebound boyfriend, Nick?”

“I’m a much worse boyfriend than Jack Daniels,” Nick said when he caught his breath again. “That’s such a bad idea, Hank. You have no idea.”

  1. First off, I can’t say how much I love your title! (heart) Second, the tension is delightfully tingly in this quiet moment with two men drinking, yet right at the edge of beginning something. (heart)
