My snippet this week includes an invitation to the Don’t Buy My Love Good Reads MMRomance group event. The first novel in the Heart and Haven series, Hitting Black Ice, is in the request for reviewers queue, and I’ve signed up the sequel for the next quarter. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group_folder/201067?group_id=20149 So far 4/10 have signed up so if you’re interested, my thanks to you! Here’s a link for more info on the books: https://velvetpanic2.wordpress.com/heart-and-haven-series/

Okay, onward to another paragraph from Last Dance: Watching Rocco, Joey is trying to get up the nerve to ask him to dance…

Then I saw her—Ms. Summer. She looked right at me, apparently concerned about something as she stood on the edge of the crowd. Red lips parted, brown eyes sad, as if she needed to tell me a secret.

The moment our eyes met—boom—down I went.

Blessedly, I never recall what happens next.
